Description
Objective of Mexican Train
The goal of Mexican Train is to be the first player to play all of your tiles, or to have the fewest points left at the end of the rounds. Each player begins by building their own personal train.
If you place a double domino on your personal train, you must immediately play another tile. If you cannot, you must draw a tile. If the drawn tile can be played, you may place it. If not, you must place your marker on your personal train. From then on, your opponents may also add tiles to your train until you are able to play again.
In addition to personal trains, a player may also start the Mexican Train once they have begun their own train. This is done by placing a tile that matches one side of the station tile. Everyone may add tiles to the Mexican Train, but it may not connect to any personal trains.
A round ends when a player has played all of their tiles, or when no further moves can be made. At that point, all players count the pips on their remaining tiles. These are their points. The player with the fewest points at the end of the game wins.
